Meet Gwen Murphy, our remarkable Lab Manager at Living Well Dallas. Gwen's journey into functional medicine is as inspiring as it is unique. After obtaining her Texas State Phlebotomy License, Gwen discovered her true calling in functional medicine, a passion ignited by her personal experiences. Battling health challenges due to mold exposure in her home, Gwen and her family turned to functional medicine.
This approach helped them heal and offered Gwen a deeper understanding and appreciation of treating the root causes of health issues.
Gwen joined the Living Well Dallas family in May 2021 and has been nothing short of a superstar. She's the mastermind behind our lab's seamless operations, fostering strong relationships with our lab vendors and ensuring our patients receive the best care during their blood draw appointments. But that's just the tip of the iceberg!
Gwen has an exceptional talent for making blood draws quick and painless – so much so that we often joke it's her superpower! She has an uncanny ability to put people at ease, turning a potentially stressful experience into a surprisingly pleasant one.
Her expertise continues beyond phlebotomy. Gwen is also skilled in administering IVs, performing intramuscular injections, including B12 and Folic Acid, and providing glutathione pushes. Her diverse skill set and compassionate approach make her an invaluable asset to our team.
